Fans of antique farm toys, farm equipment and steam engines will have the opportunity to view displays at the 61st annual Calumet County Steam Engine Show, scheduled Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 10 and 11, at the Calumet County Fairgrounds, 200 W. Chestnut St., Chilton.
The grounds will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Admission costs $5 for adults and teens and $1 for youth 12 to 16. Children 11 and younger will be admitted free, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Allis-Chalmers brand equipment will be featured. The event includes a display of antique farm equipment, a toy show, a working sawmill and feed mill, threshing demonstrations with steam engines, an exhibit of gas tractors, a display of steam engines of all makes and models, a flea market, vendors, concessions and music by the Sheboygan Accordion Club from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. Parking is free.
The Wisconsin Steam Antique Engine Club is sponsoring the show. The Ladies of Wisconsin Antique Steam Engine Club will have a special booth offering displays and information.
