Brillion Nature Center

6.5 miles of trails give hikers a chance to view wildlife in marsh, pond, forest, and prairie habitats. Trails are open from 7am to sunset. A boardwalk trail leads to a large viewing platform that extends out into the marsh. From the platform, watch for ducks, sandhill cranes, herons, and nesting osprey. Aquatic insects and frogs can be found in Jason's Pond. Wisconsin fish, reptiles, and amphibians can be viewed inside the nature center. A restored prairie is home to over 50 species of wildflowers. The Nature Center is open Monday-Friday and some Saturdays. Call to confirm that they are open.

Located at the intersection of N. 8th and W. Chestnut Streets, Civic Park occupies a 6-acre site and contains two ball diamonds with bleachers, soccer field and concession stand. At 56-acres, Kiwanis Community Park is New Holstein's largest park. Park amenities include a community center, an outdoor aquatic center, a fishing pond with a fishing deck, lighted tennis and basketball courts, soccer fields, restrooms, extensive picnic facilities, three open shelters, playground equipment, two recreational softball/baseball diamonds, batting cage, volleyball courts, a 9-hole disc golf course, lighted paved walkways and a prairie.

Civic Park is a 5-acre park located on Park Street in the northern portion of the City of New Holstein. It forms part of a recreational complex, which also includes Funke Memorial Field and the New Holstein Elementary School. Facilities include an enclosed pavilion, a large open shelter, two concession buildings, restroom facilities, picnic tables and grills, a three-sided band shelter, lighted sidewalks, and several pieces of play equipment.
