Six farms in the Calumet and Fond du Lac areas will be open for tours from 10am-3pm on Saturday, April 28th as part of the Meet Your Local Farmer - A Farm to Table event. To help get you ready for this event, we will be highlighting a farm each day for the next 6 days! Today's featured farm is Kesler Family Farm located at N6447 Highway 55, Hilbert. Kesler Family Farm is a family-orientated farm specializing in beef cattle that are raised solely on the farm’s own crops. Though the farm has moved locations and taken on some changes, its goal of raising the next generation of livestock and youth in agriculture remains the same. With several different species, this farm is sure to teach you about a true farm-to-table family farm. Come get to know how your local beef is raised! If you are interested in seeing what it takes to make this family farm function, make sure to stop by. All event information can be found at https://bit.ly/2HfW5cX.
